Position Title:Senior Electrical Engineering Technician
Reports To:Director of Engineering
Location:Minneapolis, on-site
Position
Responsibilities:

  • Work with limited supervision on a variety of assignments from design groups.

  • Work independently to solve problems of varying technical levels.

  • Develop Electro-Mechanical test fixtures and methods.

  • Build and test prototypes and accurately document results.

  • Knowledge of GMP and Design Controls along with other regulatory requirements.

  • Test new designs and assist in debug and verification.

  • Work with external vendors to develop advanced testing solutions.

  • Support CAD design efforts as needed.

  • Assemble cable harness, subassemblies and complete systems per assembly procedures and drawings.

  • Perform rework/repairs on PCB assemblies and subassemblies as required.

  • Perform in-process testing of assemblies to ensure functionality and proper performance.

  • Perform in-process cleaning and packaging of assemblies as required.

Minimum
Requirements:

  • High School diploma or Equivalent.

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience.

  • Equivalent combination of experience and education with technical degree.

  • Experience with medical device industry.

Preferred
Qualifications:

  • Experience with electrical CAD software.

  • Demonstrated experience building testing fixtures and load boxes.

  • Demonstrated experience with technical problem solving.

  • Ability to create work instructions and procedures.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate.

Benefits and
Compensation
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $76,000 to $100,000
annually
